We had a terrific time in Massachusetts and New Hampshire interviewing, shooting and hanging around. Thanks to the Vasconcellos crew for giving us a place to chill and sleep and catch up!
We arrived Wednesday early afternoon after an uneventful drive up from New Jersey. Woke up at 3:45 to the radiator alarm in my mom’s apartment — having absolutely no idea what it was and hunting all around for the hidden alarm clock. Finally gave up and just took a shower and went to pick up Amelia down in Linden and then back up north to pick up my brother. Then — the five hour drive up to Pembroke.
After a bit of hanging around and catching up, we headed up to Rye for an evening vert session, which was awesome. Then a ride back with crazy lightning off somewhere in the distance — turns out there were tornados where we were heading! No damage though and it barely rained on the way back.
Up late again that night just from the fun and excitement and the threat of watching scary movies before going to bed..but we took the smart route and didn’t stay up.
Next morning we puttered about and did a couple of interviews with Amelia and then Nora and got a late start getting to Hingham — the new nearby concrete outdoor park. I didn’t want to head back too late that afternoon so that’s all we did, putting plans to shoot again at Rye off for another day.
