I don’t know why I started making this video. We’re Maybe a little challenge in a world of mostly moving images to turn something that was a still image of something that is highly dynamic and motion-based into something still pictorial but with a bit of motion.

I dunno. Mixed media, mixing time and stillness. Implications of very motion-y motion. Some subtlety, although I know in bits of this it gets a bit less-than subtle. I think if I ever showed the photography, I would try to figure out how to translate this kind of dynamic into something that could be exhibited, perhaps drawing from David Claerbout or Bill Viola (ahem..)
But, I did it anyway. I made this. Enjoy.
A couple of production notes: this was done in-expertly in AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro (not X..which is hideous) and using still photography from the book project. I used some production tools from @Digieffects and @NoiseIndustries.
